ROVE Sauna was thoughtfully designed and crafted by us in Maine as more than just a structure—it is a sanctuary for transformation. Our vision was to create a welcoming space that fosters a sense of community, offering a social oasis where calm and connection naturally flourish. Here, individuals can come together, unwind, and engage with like-minded people, finding both peace and camaraderie in a shared environment dedicated to well-being and relaxation.
How It Works:
Step 1: Book online
Choose a time. We host hour long sessions Friday, Saturday and Sunday for up to 8 people at a time:
4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm
(Monday - Thursday coming soon)
Step 2: Show up and hydrate
Leave shoes outside, there is space to store belongings in cubbies and hooks inside. The bathroom inside the surf shop is available during their opening hours only so plan accordingly.
Please remember to bring:
Towel to sit on – we offer organic cotton towels if you forget ($25)
Swimsuit – required (no nudity allowed)
1L of water to drink – we offer 1L Poland Spring water if you forget ($3)
We also recommend electrolytes for better hydration, especially if you are a heavy sweater. We stock LMNT electrolyte sachets ($2) for your convenience.
Step 3: Sweat, breathe, repeat
Each guided sauna session includes three 15-minute rounds, each featuring an essential oil–infused water pour on the rocks. As the aromatic steam rises, your host wafts it gently through the sauna for a deeply restorative experience.
Round 1: Sweet Orange and Peppermint — uplifting and awakening
Round 2: Eucalyptus and Rosemary — clearing and invigorating
Round 3: Lavender and Frankincense — calming and grounding
Between rounds, step outside into nature for a 5-minute cool-down break. Refresh with a crisp and invigorating cold water bucket shower and unwind in a big, comfy chair with feet on the earth, surrounded by nature, under the open sky.
